Tales of Mundus: A note on chronology
As I describe in my preface to “In the House of the Machine God,” the stories that I’ve written so far in the World saga take place in the following rough chronology (although you can read them in whatever order you like):
“Terra Cotta Army,” a short story (available for download below) that takes place a long time before the events described in The Heresies of World.
“In the House of the Machine God,” a short story (available on Amazon and other ebook retailers), that takes place about a decade before the events described in The Heresies of World. I like to think of “Machine God” as World saga, book 0 (even though it’s only about 7000 words long).
The Heresies of World, a novella/novelette (available on Amazon and other ebook retailers) that represents the first major installment of the World saga and starts what I think of as the “present-day” events of the narrative.
“Fail Safe,” a short story (available for download below) that takes place during the same general period as The Heresies of World.
